The DSBA would like to congratulate Lieutenant Jason Jarvis on his last shift before retirement. Lieutenant Jarvis received his retirement badge and custom engraved baton. Over his 25-year career, Lieutenant Jarvis has served in numerous capacities within the Sheriff's office to include many years as a Deputy, Sergeant and Lieutenant of the Sheriffs Emergency Response Team. Lieutenant Jarvis finished out his career as a Watch Commander on C watch. On behalf of all the members of the DSBA, we want to say thank you, congratulations and enjoy a long, happy and healthy retirement. We would also like to thank Custom Wood Light Graphics for supplying our retirement batons.
The DSBA would like to congratulate Sergeant Rob Marshall on his last shift before retirement. Sergeant Marshall received his retirement badge and custom engraved baton. Over his 25 year career, Sergeant Marshall has served in numerous capacities within the Sheriffs office to include many years as a firearms instructor where he trained newly hired Deputies as well as yearly training for current Deputies. Sergeant Marshall finished out his career assigned to the Transport unit. On behalf of all the members of the DSBA, we want to say thank you, congratulations and enjoy a long, happy and healthy retirement.We would also like to thank Custom Wood Light Graphics for supplying our retirement batons.
The DSBA would like to congratulate Deputy Steve McBurnie on a well-deserved retirement. Deputy McBurnie served for 25 years with the Custody Division, retiring after serving many years in the Transport Unit. Deputy McBurnie helped share his knowledge and experience to many Deputies newly assigned to Transport over the years. Deputy McBurnie, thank you for your service and we wish you a happy, healthy and long retirement! A big thanks to Custom Wood Light Graphics for the engraved retirement baton.
The DSBA would like to congratulate Deputy Michael Johnson on his well deserved retirement. Deputy Johnson has served with the Sheriffs office for 20 years and has been assigned numerous roles to include housing deputy, Sheriffs Emergency Response Team member and finishing out his career as the Custody Staff Development Deputy where he led all new recruits through their training while in the academy setting. Deputy Johnson received numerous commendations throughout his career to include his most recent Medal of Distinguished service.
Today Deputy Johnson received his retirement gifts and retirement badge from the DSBA executive board.
